Are Bamboo tablets compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard)?

Drivers fully compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.6 will be released shortly after the official release of Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.6.

Can I use a Bamboo tablet alongside my system mouse ?

Even if a mouse is not needed anymore once you’ve got your Bamboo tablet, you can leave it connected. Both devices will work in parallel without any limitations.

How to care for my Bamboo?

Keep your Bamboo tablet surface and pen (when equipped) clean. Dust and dirt particles can stick to the pen and cause excessive wear to the tablet surface. Regular cleaning with a soft, damp cloth will help to prolong the life of your tablet surface and pen; you can also dampen the cloth using a very mild soap diluted with water. Do not use volatile liquids, such as paint thinner or benzene, as they may damage the plastic case.

How to replace the pen nib of my Bamboo pen?

The pen nib (tip) will wear with normal use. Excessive pressure will cause it to wear sooner. Replace the pen nib when it gets too short – less than 1 mm (0.4 inch) – or develops a flat point. Spare nibs for Bamboo are available through our webstore.
To replace the nib, proceed as follows:
1. Clasp the old nib with the nib extractor, pair of tweezers, needle-nosed pliers, or similar instrument and pull it straight out of the pen.
2. Slide the end of the nib straight into the barrel of the pen. Firmly push the nib until it stops.

• Bamboo Pen & Touch

Bamboo Pen & Touch ships with two sensors for pen and multi-touch input. The innovative touch sensor supports multi-touch gestures to scroll, zoom, rotate and more. The pressure-sensitive pen tip and eraser in combination with a paper-like tablet surface provide a natural feel.

• Bamboo Fun Small/Medium

Bamboo Fun ships with two sensors for pen and multi-touch input. The innovative touch sensor supports multi-touch gestures to scroll, zoom, rotate and more. The pressure-sensitive pen tip and eraser in combination with a paper-like tablet surface provide a natural feel. Bamboo Fun is available in two different sizes and ships with digital imaging and painting software (Photoshop Elements and ArtRage via for Small and additionally Corel Painter Essentials for Medium via software download).

• Bamboo Touch

Bamboo Touch ships with an innovative touch sensor for intuitive and direct control. It supports multi-touch gestures to scroll, zoom, rotate and more.

• Bamboo Pen

Bamboo Ppen provides you with advanced pen technology. The pressure-sensitive pen tip and eraser in combination with a paper-like surface provide a natural feel. Bamboo includes ArtRage, an innovative painting software (via software download).

All tablets ship with USB cable, driver software, online user’s manual, quick start gfuide and an interactive tutorial. All pen configurations additionally include a pen, integrated a pen holder, replacement nibs and a nib extractor. And you even get Bamboo Dock, Bamboo Minis and additional Bamboo services!
